Bovey Tourist Information Centre back up and running

We are now fully up and running again after our restricted hours during the last winter period and hopefully this year we will see an increase in visitor numbers to our Town this summer. We offer a vital service to the holiday makers, local businesses and the community a like. To this end we would ask that all organisers of the clubs and societies and events in Bovey and the outlying local areas bring in or send us their posters and leaflets for the events that are to take place, and we will display them free of charge in the center.

The Trustees would like to thank everyone who responded to our plea for volunteers to man the center throughout the year, we still do have a few slots to fill and anyone that is interested in helping our merry band should call in and ask for Mrs.Linda Griesell or leave a message for her.

As always we sold tickets for the Devon County Show and this year was almost a sell out, so please if in future you are thinking of going to the show then please buy your tickets from the Center as we benefit financially from the sale of the tickets which in turn helps with the day to day running costs.

We also have a computer in the Center which helps us with accommodation, bookings, events and important information in the Town and Dartmoor, we are also linked with Bovey Tracey Town Council Website.
