Liverton Pre-school Forest School

Our Forest School has now been running for a year. Forest School is all about providing children with the opportunity to explore and experience the natural world. Through, this hands on, experience the children have developed their self-confidence, self esteem, curiosity and independence. We have been fortunate in finding an ideal location for our Forest School. The woodland is situated just a five minute walk from the village hall. We have had great fun over the past 12 months including: watching the bluebells grow, picking blackberries, discovering frogspawn and toad spawn and observing their development, cooking on an open fire as well as enjoying the mud, water and ice.

Our sessions:

Monday: Pre-school 9.30 12.00 Lunch Club 12.00-1.00

Tuesday: Pre-school 9.30 12.00 Lunch Club 12.00-1.00 Toddler Group 10.00 11.30

Wednesday: Pre-school 9.30 12.00 Lunch Club 12.00-1.00 Forest School 1.00-3.00

Thursday: Pre-school 9.30 12.00 Lunch Club 12.00-1.00 Toddler Group 10.00 11.30 Forest School 1.00-3.00

Friday: Pre-school 9.30 12.00 Lunch Club 12.00-12.45 Pre-school 12.45-3.15

We would like to foster links with the local community by inviting local groups and individuals to come and talk to the children about their lives, interests, hobbies or their involvement in the community. If you are interested please contact the pre-school.
