Exciting new programme of events at Riverside Mill

Mon 6 Jan 2014

The new programme of exhibitions and events at the Devon Guild of Craftsmen in Bovey Tracey has just been released and it’s a chance for everyone to join in, learn a new skill and make some new friends. Pick up a brochure at Riverside Mill, visit www.crafts.org.uk or call 01626 832223 to get your brochure mailed to you for free and you’ll get invited to opening parties, talks, workshops and exhibitions throughout the year

The acclaimed galleries, craft shop and café in Bovey Tracey are free admission and welcome visitors 7 days a week throughout the year.
The lively popular café has just added wifi to its services which makes it perfect for that stop by to catch up with friends or have that short informal business meet and keep in touch with wider networks.

There are lots of events with families in mind including on-going educational activities in the Jubilee Gallery during each exhibition on an associated theme to encourage children and parents to get creative and have lots of fun together.

The first exhibition in the New Year is Narrative Remains (Saturday 18 January - Sunday 23 March) which explores the relationship between words, including stories, poems, prose or quotes, and making with work on show including installations, photography, print, collage, enamel, ceramics and textiles. There’s also a chance to learn a new skill (or brush up on one) with a calligraphy workshop on Saturday 8 March (booking on 01626 832223).
